Step-by-Step Project Delivery

Detailed Site Survey
We inspected all access routes and took measurements which confirmed that a 995mm gap was available, so our compact mini piling rig could be transported to the works area. Should the gap be less than that then we also have a hand-held piling system which can access through any doorway.

Custom Mini Piling Design
Our engineers designed a GoliathTech screw pile solution with no vibration or excavation which was perfectly suited to the confined space and local ground conditions, which included clay over made ground.

Protection Measures
To protect the client’s property, we used:
- Protective sheeting for the astroturf lawn
- Bunded spoil stockpile area
- Controlled material handling (all by hand)

Restricted Access Piling Installation
The piling was installed in conjunction with the ground beam excavation increasing installation efficiency. The piles were installed close to the property boundary in accordance with the pile design with complete control over spoil and noise which resulted in minimal disturbance to neighbours.

Ground Beams & Pile Caps
We cast reinforced concrete pile caps and ground beams ready for the builder’s brickwork.

Completion & Certification
All piling logs, concrete tickets and as-built drawings were provided to Building Control.
